A Nepalese Meal

I spent two weeks on a missions trip to Nepal. The photo shows a typical Nepalese dinner. It typically consists of dhaal bhaat (a salty, soup-like dish containing lentils and spices that I had put over my rice), papadum (a cracker made from gram flour), curried vegetables and potatoes, rice, and Nepali tea. Meat is typically only eaten at dinner and is usually chicken or mutton (beef is a big no-no in this majority Hindu country). Everything is flavorful and quite spicy.
